At Duffy Legal Solutions, we help government contractors manage contract execution, reduce performance risk, and navigate the realities of federal contracting with confidence.
Our mission is to provide practical, senior-level contract and legal guidance to small and mid-sized contractors who are actively performing federal work — without the cost, rigidity, or unpredictability of traditional law firm models.
Who We Are
Duffy Legal Solutions was founded by Cathal Duffy, a licensed Florida attorney and former senior federal contracting officer with more than twenty years inside the federal acquisition system.
Before entering private practice, Cathal spent two decades on the government side administering, negotiating, and overseeing complex federal construction, A/E, and facilities contracts at GSA and other agencies. He led major capital construction and O&M portfolios and worked daily on the same contract performance issues contractors face after award: modifications, compliance, performance disputes, schedule impacts, and risk decisions.
That experience shaped a different practice model — one focused on how contracts are actually administered, evaluated, and enforced during performance.
